My family just got home from the most relaxing and refreshing vacation that we have ever had before. 2011 is officially over and we can all celebrate the start of 2012.  To cap of a great year of Hollywood actors being true to themselves, the voters have spoken and created a list of the best hollywood rebels of 2011.  Overall there are about 17 actors, from known Hollywood elite to musicians to new Hollywood talent, who graced the list.  Both male and female celebrities were honored and her are a few of the best.

On the list was Daniel Craig.  Sure Daniel Craig plays James Bond, one of the best known tough action spies of all time, but in real life he is equally smooth.  Craig typically shies away from the spotlight, but when doing interviews, he lets it all out.  While guarding his private life always, he is never coy about stating his personal opinions and views.  This past year, he had a few choice words for all politicians and very publically bashed the Kardashian family.

Next on the list is political pundit and comedian Stephen Colbert.  Colbert has notoriously called out guests and organizations from behind his desk at Comedy Central and this year was no different.  Previously, he has had his own rally in Washington and even got corporate sponsorship for covering events at the Winter Olympics.  However, this year Mr. Colbert outdid himself.  He created his own PAC (Political Action Committee) which is running advertisements across the nation, with the intention of noting how ludicrous our political process can be.

Also on the list was female comedian Kristen Wiig.  She had a breakout year and proved that the realm of comedy is not just for the men.  Even in comedy films women have a certain type of role they play, but her all female ensemble film “Birdesmaids” threw that notion to the wind.  We were treated to women fart jokes and more, and loved every second of it.
